| Our
coaching staff started working with youth football players in
the early 1990s in West Texas. When we started coaching
youth football there was no coaching resources available, the
internet was non-existent, local libraries had limited coaching
books, most 1950 or 1960 vintage, so we had to learn thru trial
and error. It was through
this trial and error that we learned what would work with youth
football players and what flat out wouldn't work. It took
us a few years but we finally perfected our methods and they
still work today.
